This book follows a story about three women and their inseparable friendship, their past relationship issues and how they decide to embark on a dating game by playing matchmaker for each other. Then trouble hits as this game starts to threaten their friendship.
It took me a little while to get into the book but after the first third the pace picked up and I enjoyed the light hearted humour sprinkled here and there which was exactly what I wanted. But towards the end the chapters felt like they were dragging on for longer than necessary.
It’s the type of book you know will end with some affirming message about friendship but you want to read along the journey anyway. I think I’d set my expectations too high so I was slightly disappointed with it overall. It wasn’t quite the page turner I’d hoped it was.
Nonetheless, it was an okay read with some heartwarming and funny moments.
